About Us

Our school is a Comprehensive Institute that accommodates pupils aged 3 to 14. It includes a preschool, an elementary school and a secondary school. Our staff consists mainly of teachers who collaborate with the head teacher. Instrumental functions include the contact person for school guidance, the contact person for teacher training, the person in charge of inter-school relations, and the person in charge of school documentation. Instructional planning is done by multidisciplinary Learning Units. Our lower secondary school offers students a choice of two extracurricular activities: music school and sports school. As for music school, pupils can choose from different instruments such as violin, piano and guitar. As for sports, they can choose from a wide range of team sports.

ilmiolavoro (IML) is an innovative organization working in the field of lifelong learning system since 2014. IML aims to support people in their personal and professional growth. In a complex labor market IML supports people in achieving a condition of personal self-fulfillment. IML operates through a combined set of training and research services: professional growth for teachers; active teaching methodologies; tools to address early school leaving; creative workshops to improve soft skills; educational entrepreneurship; and socio-educational research. IML promotes and facilitates transformative learning processes in which awareness arises from a continuous connection with the emerging future. IML is headquartered in central Italy, but the organization conducts its activities throughout Italy. It also works at the European level, organizing training activities in several European countries.

The school was created in 1899 with the goal of providing a future for the most disadvantaged girls and women in the Bilbao of then. Since then, the center's mission has focused on welcoming the most disadvantaged students and families, providing quality education and the support necessary for the development of their skills and their integration into society. Educational guidance work is one of our strengths, as is integral accompaniment.

Our center offers educational levels from kindergarten to the end of compulsory secondary education, as well as training basic, intermediate and higher vocational education. We have 97 students in early childhood education, 214 in primary education, 203 in intermediate secondary education and 237 students in vocational education divided into the 3 levels offered.

Our educators are involved and participate in all activities offered by the school's work teams.
